Pedestrians aren't meant to use the north side of the gyratory at the Hydro, and it isn't much more suitable for cycling either.
There used to be a direct underpass link towards the SECC here, but it was filled in when the gyratory was built, leaving only an underpass with steps beneath Finnieston Street. With the covered walkway from Minerva Street closed, pedestrians are meant to use the east side of Finnieston Street.
