If you know where to look, there are now little asphalt ramps on each of the steps on the Charing Cross footbridge. But they could be widened and highlighted with paint.
The dropped kerb is also obstructed by car parking.
Combined with the Sauchiehall Street cycleway and the one-way Woodside Place and Clairmont Gardens, this is now a fairly convenient westbound route from the city centre to Kelvingrove Park. The connections to and from the footbridge could be improved.
