Traffic signals being installed on Lochburn Road at the canal bridge. Low-level cycle signals have been included for cyclists going along Lochburn Road. [Now they are operational, the low-level signals give cyclists a head-start of a few seconds over other traffic.] Toucan signals have been included for those walking and cycling under the bridge between the canal path accesses.
Meanwhile, work continues on building the new bridge across the canal at Stockingfield Junction, connecting paths on each side, and due for completion summer 2022.
