The path between Pinkston Road and Craighall Road has been closed, and the footbridge across the motorway to North Wallace Street has been removed. Diversion signs are in place along Baird Street and Dobbie's Loan.

However, the diversion does not tie into the diversion for the closed path between Pinkston Road and Charles Street, and signs for that diversion are no longer on display. So people are diverted into what is currently a dead-end road and abandoned there.
