[Image taken 16.3.21] York: Bishopgate Street junction with Price's Lane. The image clearly shows the space for passing a cyclist - advisory lanes - in either direction is insufficient. After taking this pic (from the pavement), I rejoined the road and cycled in the direction the red vehicle is taking. The driver of a white delivery van overtook me. There was oncoming traffic so the vehicle passed too close too fast. Terrifying. When I first came to this city someone said People cycle in York despite the infrastructure not because of it. I am reminded of that all too frequently. See also: #165565.
