It would be useful for east-west journeys to have a proper connection between Hawthorn Street and Campsie Street (which leads to Wallacewell Road). But at present, the most direct connection is a gravel path between the footways of Atlas Road and Edgefauld Road, and can be accessed from a pedestrian crossing dropped kerb on the former.
