The path connecting Cogan Street and Shawbridge Street has been laid out for pedestrian use only, but provides a route to and from the retail park that avoids Nether Auldhouse Road, so would be useful for cycling too.

Although there is a dropped kerb at this end, the nearest dropped kerb to the other end is a little distance along Shawbridge Street.
