The council has fenced off the former cycle off-slip from the Clyde Arc bridge at the NCN75 toucan crossing. This helped those making right turns by allowing cyclists to leave the carriageway and make the turn with the assistance of the crossing. It was poorly implemented and required a very tight turn, but was better than nothing.
The proposed cycle diversion for the COP26 conference requires a right turn to be made right here.
