There should be a footpath through this field from Beechcroft to the Village Hall, Sports Fields and Pre-School on Crabtree Lane. This is essential, as we have no pavements on Church Road, Downs Road and much of Crabtree Lane. A footpath would facilitate a safe route to/from school for children, to/from the church, the bus stop and the pub for everybody else. At present, people have to walk along Downs Road, where there is no pavement, but where large HGVs go up/down the road to the scrap yard. A footpath would transform our village life.
