The Shakespeare Street contraflow cycle track has been replaced by a false one-way street at the new Tesco goods exit. Shakespeare Street is part of a link route between the River Kelvin cycleway and the Forth & Clyde Canal.
Now that the contraflow is in the form of a kerbside cycle lane, it regularly gets blocked by parked cars. Previously the entry to the contraflow was out from the kerb.
