Cycling on the Beach 02

Location: Portobello, Edinburgh (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Unusual sight - cycling on the sand of the beach, obviously down on the wet sand near the surf - I know cycling on the piled up dry sand is pretty useless. Mind you I also know from bitter experience to be careful cycling on wet sand too, can be supportive then you can hit a patch that looks the same as all the rest but your wheels just sink into it. Skinny wheels not the idea surface area for sand! But they seemed to be getting along okay
