Bilsland Drive at the junction with Balmore Road, a short distance after the end of the pop-up cycle lane. Since the inside of the carriageway was occupied with queuing traffic, the cyclist seen in #151391 had no option but to queue with th ... [more]
Kelvin Way closed to motor traffic to allow more room for walking and cycling. Nothing to say that the road closure is exempting cycles, but people seem to have got the message regardless. Unusually, one of the parking bays extends into ... [more]
The footway markings on Leverndale Road end into an Advance Stop Line at the Crookston Road junction. There is no cycle provision on the main road. If there is moving traffic, this layout means cyclists waiting until the lights turn red ... [more]
A tiny notice explaining how Advance Stop Lines work to drivers. I can't imagine many notice this, or take the time to read it.
A learner driver being taught to stop short of the (worn out) Advance Stop Line and Box Junction, while another driver stops right in the Box Junction.
The traffic signals on Alderman Road have acquired a cycle advance green of about 6 seconds before the full green in one direction, plus a toucan crossing on this side for those cycling down the footway of Lincoln Avenue.
A funders' sign for whatever aspect of this road layout they wish to trumpet about. Fastlink maybe or the cycle route? There isn't any sign to say whether or not the footway here is shared use. There was a sign at #99434 and there's one jus ... [more]
The proposed cycleway for Jura Street will be on the left side, and end at a toucan crossing across Paisley Road West to Bellahouston Park. So this door-zone cycle lane will be removed.
Direction sign for secure cycle parking in Cadogan Square partly obscured by whatever UB07 signifies. The size of the text also makes it hard to see, and the sign at the next junction is even less conspicuous.
A new pinch-point in Oswald St to look out for cycling, which is also successful in trapping buses in the bus stop. And useless Advance Stop Line.
The outside bus lane has been curtailed (along with the advance stop line) to allow more room for buses turning from Oswald St into Argyle St.
Right turn in two stages. Or play chicken with four lanes of traffic. #glasgowcycling https://t.co/HjgOdnKF7P [Ahead Only signs mean that right turn can only be made by the two-stage route.]
The end of the inexplicable and abandoned cycleway on Saracen Street (see also #83824). Are cyclists expected to bump the kerb and use the ASL feeder?
The Clyde Street cycleway approaching crossing across to Carlton Place. Incorrect corduroy tactiles have been used.
This narrow corner is going to be rebuilt as part of Glasgow City Council's cycle route along the south bank of the River Clyde. Update at #83027.
A cycle parking hoop that's been twisted around so any bike parked on it would obstruct footway and adjacent cycleway. Plus taxi drivers ignoring advance stop lines again.

New cycle signals replacing a toucan crossing at Charlotte Street, but they don't seem to go to green when the parallel pedestrian crossing is green and no conflicting movements are occurring.
On the far side of the road crossing it is legal to cycle on this path. On this side it is not. And there are obstructions at the road crossing in the way of anyone using the path anyway.
Shortly before launch, the Connect2 cycle route in Waterloo St, Glasgow, with left turn for Blythswood St being directly into the Advance Stop Line box, in which there is a bus.
Now that an Advance Stop Line has been provided at the end of the contraflow bus lane, a cycle lane approaching it would be most welcome to attempt to dissuade taxi drivers and others from hogging the kerb. (Update on #26410)
Advance Stop Line on West Nile Street without an approach cycle lane where the first stop line didn't have a gap for cyclists to legally cross into the cycle waiting area. Now part of the first stop line has been scorched off to create such ... [more]
Cramming too much in. A bus driver takes both of the narrow lanes on Glassford Street where split Advance Stop Lines have been provided. Bus can't turn left and keep within inside lane.
Cycle lanes and Advance Stop Line on Cambridge Street. The narrow southbound cycle lane is between opposing directions of motor traffic!
Advance stop line on Napiershall Street at Great Western Road junction, but way straight on into Woodlands Drive blocked off to all vehicles including cycles (against Glasgow City Council policy on road closures) (see also #28673)
St George's Road, Charing Cross, Glasgow. If you were marking this Advance Stop Line out of ten, how many marks would you give it?
Lead-in into Advance Stop Line at end of a footway-cycling section on under-construction so-called East End Regeneration Route (which will link newly built M74 motorway with M8 and M80). Fine as long as you're not turning right and the ligh ... [more]
