A pop-up two-way cycle lane has been provided on Dumbreck Road, between the Pollok Park entrance and the motorway junction, due to the inadequate shared footway. The bus stop has been closed, and not provided with a bus boarder.

Glasgow cyclists, be very wary of the new cycle path at Mosspark Boulevard & Drumbrek Road, The removal of cones means cars are treating it as a left hand car lane. You could get hit by oncoming traffic https://t.co/HdESW6m0eK

The shared-use footway continues from Dumbreck Road into Haggs Road, with a narrow section between a railing and a hedge. No links to the surrounding residential areas.

New tactiles and non-flush dropped kerbs, but poor road surface at gateway on Dumbreck Road shared-use footway.

One of the better sections of shared-use footway alongside Dumbreck Road. Not very wide, and with no separation from the main carriageway (seen somewhat off-peak). Other sections are narrower, with poor visibility on inside curves.

Shared-use footway forming NCN7 and NCN75, linking between Dumbreck Road Toucan crossing and the road into Pollok Country Park.

No cycle facility through busy Dumbreck Road M77 motorway junction, and lots of obstructions on the footway. Nevertheless, a few people did cycle along the footway in the short time I spent here.
