The cycle route crosses Govan Road from Burleigh Street to Pearce Street.

Protected contraflow cycle track next to marked loading bay on Burleigh Street.

Incorrect signage and obstructive parking on the Burleigh Street contraflow cycle lane. Room for some cycle parking.

The Langlands Road cycleway joins the carriageway of Langlands Road. On the right is the start of the Fastlink bus lane to Govan Bus Station.

The Langlands Road cycleway restarts as a designated strip of asphalt outside the shops. Despite the tyre marks on the kerb, there is no dropped kerb, and cycle access is from the narrow toucan crossing.

The cycleway on Langlands Road has now been extended across Golspie Street.

A route sign on the Cardonald Quietway, and barriers on the bridge over the White Cart.

A minimalist crossing put in for the Cardonald Quietway. Basically a patch of asphalt on the central reservation. Slightly diagonal too.

Signage for the Cardonald Quietway on the right-hand side of Linthaugh Road, but not very easy to read from the left-hand carriageway (which, since the footway is not shared-use, is where approaching cyclists should be). Quite frankly, t ... [more]

Footway cycling on Langlands Road where the painted cycle lanes are blocked by parked cars.

Car parking in the Langlands Road painted cycle lanes, and an old 'No Cycling' sign at this end of the path to Mallaig Road.

More cars parked in the Cardonald Place Road contraflow cycle lane. When I got to the traffic signals, I waited for two pedestrian phases and still the cycle phase did not happen.

Old barriers still blocking footbridge over White Cart, now part of the Cardonald Quietway.

A private hire car parked on double yellow lines, in a contraflow cycle lane, and partly on the footway.

Allanton Drive is on the Govan-Cardonald Quietway, but which way do you turn at the next junction? The sign with the tiny writing at the junction (visible over the rear end of the van) says, but it can't be read when you need to select your ... [more]

The full length of the Pearce Lane cycle track. For some strange reason, the dropped kerb at Water Row does not extend to the full width of the cycle track.

A protected cycle lane along Pearce Lane, between Pearce Street and Water Row.

@RantyHighwayman @peterwalker99 Though this is good design, but it’s in back street of Govan, Glasgow... almost as cyclists don’t ever shop or stop for coffee! https://t.co/qzxO60mslu

No proper crossing across Shieldhall Road at the roundabout to follow the destinations on the Cardonald Quietway sign. As for the Renfrew and Braehead sign, the shared footway doesn't start until the Hardgate Road junction.

No proper crossing across Shieldhall Road to the path at the far side of the roundabout, to access the destinations on the sign in #98986.

A sign giving directions along the path on the other side of the roundabout, but no actual crossing of Shieldhall Road at the roundabout.

A shared use path has been provided alongside Moss Road, from Langcroft Road to the Shieldhall Roundabout where it just stops.

A generally forlorn look to the underpass linking Drumoyne to the biggest hospital in the city.

Graffiti on the walls of the Moss Road expressway underpass, leading to Glasgow's biggest hospital.

Brand new direction sign with graffiti. It is easier to get to the hospital by bike via the path to the left which leads to Hardgate Road. The path to the right leads to the Shieldhall Road roundabout where it is difficult to cross the r ... [more]

A path undergoing reconstruction, with installation of lighting, in Cardonald Park.

A new contraflow cycle lane on Cardonald Place Road ahead, but no exemption for cycles from the mandatory turn into Cardonald Gardens. In the distance, cars parked in the contraflow lane, just like in #71119.

Turning off of Golspie Street onto the Langlands Road cycle track. Narrow crossing. Location: Govan, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Going down into the underpass. Location: Shieldhall, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Car parked in cycle lane, while opposite, a door-zone cycle lane with inadequate parking bay width and buffer strip. Location: Drumoyne, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Van with cycle warning stickers parked in cycle lane and on kerb. Location: Drumoyne, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Corrected road markings. Location: Drumoyne, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Cycle lane on Langlands Road. Location: Drumoyne, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

The Langlands Cycle Path in Govan, with separate space for cyclists going in each direction

The end of the Langlands Cycle Path in Govan. It doesn't continue across the other side, nor is the crossing even a Toucan

The new Langlands Cycle Path features pieces of art incorporated in the surface next to the cycleway

Start of the Langlands Cycle Path, outside Elderpark Library, rebuilt from #36125. Note the infill tar put up against the badly-installed dropped kerb!
