NCN756 closed in North Claremont Street, with a partly obscured sign saying to dismount and use footway. But there is no footway on this side of the road, and the road itself is one-way the opposite way. The 'diversion' sign lying on the … [more]

A route sign (if you can read the small writing) pointing cyclists the wrong way along a one-way road, marked as 'No Entry'. The 'West City Way' emblem has its own separate post.

Another view of the 'Give Way' line in #182981. Note the pedestrian using the diagonal cycle crossing.

A cluttered approach to this 'Give Way' line. See also #182982.

A new section of cycle track at West Street, showing junction with Clyde Place cycle track. See #169987 for view in opposite direction.

The new ramp from Firhill Road and Garscube Road up to the Forth & Clyde Canal and the bridge to the Claypits nature reserve is now open. In addition to the ramp, there are steps available for pedestrians. Part of the Nextbike hire station … [more]

A new cycle route on Archerhill Road, leading to the BMX Centre at Knightswood Park. The view from the rear of the bus shelter in #99493.

A new cycle route on Archerhill Road, leading to the BMX Centre at Knightswood Park. Quite why a proper bus stop bypass wasn't installed here I don't know. The bus shelter should be moved closer to the boarder and the segregated cycle … [more]

Glasgow's newest cycle project.

A 2018 Glasgow cycle infrastructure.

A kerb on the approach to the pedestrian crossing across Cathcart Road. The cycle route continues across the other side of the road.

The stepped cycle lane on George V Bridge is somewhat difficult to get onto from Commerce Street due to all the clutter on the footway, and potentially people waiting at the crossing. But as we can see from #82971, it is only useful for … [more]

A lamppost positioned in the worst place possible, in the middle of an already narrow path at a blind corner.
