Anyone not turning left must leave the protected cycle lane and use the anonymous advance stop line.

No path connection between the road crossing and the entrance to Hogganfield Park. Have to bump kerb and cross grass. This is a signed walking and cycling route, the Seven Lochs Trail.

No attempt has been made by the housing developer to integrate the existing paths into the new road layout, let alone upgrade them. The path on the left connects Daldowie Road with Caledonia Road at the bus terminus.

Not a care in the world about any inconvenience their parking may cause.

Only one usable gap remains in the closure of Kelvin Way for cycling through. This makes it difficult to turn into Kelvin Way from University Avenue.

The cycle traffic signals at Dargarvel Avenue, at the Dumbreck Road/Dumbreck Avenue junction. The junction also has toucan crossings around two sides. The shapes of the gaps do not make it easy to make movements straight across the junction ... [more]

The cycle filter at the end of Dargarvel Avenue has a signal since the junction of Dumbreck Road and Dumbreck Avenue is signalised. However, the gaps are not best aligned for movements straight across the junction.

Planters used to close off Kinbuck Street near Cowlairs Park, with room to cycle between them.

The 'End of Route' sign is still up, even though the Wallacewell Road cycle lanes were extended to the end of the road some time ago. The cycle lanes recommence right after the roundabout.

Unlike other armadillo-protected cycle lanes around the city, there are no double yellow lines on Wallacewell Road, and fly parking is still a problem, particularly at gaps in the armadillo provision.

A strange gap in the lining and armadillo provision on Wallacewell Road.

A Fire Path modified for through cycling, although the signage is unaltered. Three of the signs are probably larger than they need to be making them vulnerable to being twisted around to face the wrong way. The gap has only been marked for ... [more]

A fairly new cycle link on Hopehill Road, including some new green space created by shortening the former carriageway on this side of the closure.

The end of the widened footway and transition onto an on-road painted cycle lane along Alderman Road.

This type of infra is excellent but will be wasted money unless protective measures are included too. @GlasgowCC @collin_little @GoBikeGlasgow https://t.co/QRSaqPbHhQ

The Partick Bus Station rebuild continues, but at least there will be a direct route onto the carriageway at Merkland Street once it's finished. The stone bases for the bus shelters were apparently imported all the way from Portugal! ... [more]

A gate with gaps both sides protecting the access path from Great Western Road to the Forth & Clyde Canal towpath. The curved walls are similar to gateways created at a number of cycle path accesses around Glasgow.

The contraflow cycle lane on Blythswood Street is still incorrectly signed.

There appears to be a gap in the Silverburn to Pollokshaws & Newlands cycle route at this bus stop in Barrhead Road.

No break in the cycle lane for this minor side road. I'm not sure that this 'Road Narrows' sign is still needed, since the rest of the road has been narrowed to match the section ahead, and in what is now a 30mph zone having two seems pa ... [more]

The gap in the wall for the Kelvin Walkway is just too narrow. The Kelvin Walkway crosses the busy A879 Balmore Road here, with poor sightlines between two bends.

Turning off of Golspie Street onto the Langlands Road cycle track. Narrow crossing. Location: Govan, Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Maybe it's not finished, maybe it's a mistake, but there's a gap in the border at the dropped kerb for cycle access to Allison Street and the gap is only a fraction of the length of the dropped kerb. There's no such gap in the marked car pa ... [more]
