Corduroy tactiles were specified in the drawings and corduroy tactiles were duly installed, rather than cycleway tactiles.

The surface on the cycleway is the same shiny smooth asphalt used on the footway. Not good for grip.

Dropped kerbs have been installed at the access to the Village development (rectifying #71113), but that footway next to the stepped cycleway is so narrow!

Bridge joints in the new stepped cycle lane on George V Bridge have still to be finished.

If you are going straight on from George V Bridge, the new stepped cycle lane is no use (see #82971), so must continue to use the carriageway, in lane 3. But there's a 20mph sign, so that makes it all right!

The stepped cycle lane on George V Bridge is for left turns only. Anyone going straight on should remain on the carriageway, in lane 3 or 4 (see #82973). Plenty of footway clutter to deal with on the corner.
