The Loch Lomond railway path used to carry on here, but now flats block the route as well as the expanded car showroom that initially took over some of the land. NCN7 continues instead along the footway across South Street to the right.

I remember being told by a council official how planning gain was going to be used to help develop the cycle route network in Glasgow. I don't think anything beneficial happened as a result of the new housing on the left.
