Active travel routes into and around Sighthill still closed. This is the path between Craighall Road and Sighthill, alongside the motorway.

The footway and crossings between Garscube Road and Cowcaddens, across and along Phoenix Road, have been shut as part of the M8 motorway viaduct repair work.

A large area has been taken for a works compound for the M8 motorway viaduct repair work. But the path between the Garscube Road footbridge and Braid Square is still open.

I don't think the replacement Sighthill Bridge will be opening in "the early months of 2022". https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=27331

The pedestrian crossings at Anderston Cross have been surrounded by hoardings, making sightlines rather poor.

The pedestrian crossings form part of the original Glasgow to Paisley cycle route, opened by Cllr Charlie Gordon back in 1993. This section is part of one of the many 'Cyclists Dismount' sections, and it remains so to this day. Nowadays, … [more]

The sign back at #170595 should have warned that this left turn is directly onto the M8 motorway.

The sign should really mention that motorway regulations begin immediately on the road with the motorway numbers all in brackets. This is a sliproad directly onto the eastbound M8 motorway, see #170597.

The signs at the foot of the footbridge connecting the two parts of Beech Avenue across the M8 motorway. The direction sign is obscured by tree braches, and not visible if following the original Paisley to Glasgow cycle route (an important … [more]

Collapsing and muddy tactile paving at the M8 on-slip toucan crossing at Craighall Road.

Ramp at the MacLellan Street side of footbridge, but there are steps at the Clifford Street side.

It's clear here what the transport priorities are when there are steps at one side of this footbridge.

Once up the steps from Clifford Street, the rest of the motorway footbridge is step-free.

Shallow steps leading to motorway footbridge at Clifford Street that could be replaced by a proper ramp. The same problem as the other access at #152263.

To get from Vermont Street to Scotland Street involves going around the odd-shaped roundabout under the motorway, or hopping onto the footway, which as #70775 and #70773 show gets very narrow.

Clear & comforting signage for cyclists looking for that award winning bridge. #glasgowcycleinfraday http://t.co/D8poHQe95m
