Although the bus stop layby on Thornliebank Road has been filled in for the Silverburn to Pollokshaws & Newlands cycle route, the width still narrows down by the pelican crossings.

A small ramp has been provided from Harriet Place to the pelican crossing on Thornliebank Road for the Silverburn to Pollokshaws & Newlands cycle route.

People in Pollok want to cycle, but are being failed by the Council which provides big busy roads with no cycle facilities going where people want to go.

This path has now been signed as a shared-use cycle path, to allow cyclists from the Thornliebank Road direction to avoid the Barrhead Road Roundabout. However, the crossing across Nether Auldhouse Road is an ordinary pelican crossing.
