Large signs to diagram 606 in Chancellor Street, where they should be to diagram 609.

The street environment in Partick Bridge Street, looking towards Partick Cross. The cycle route from Ferry Road to Byres Road would appear to be coming around here.

I'm all for reducing pole clutter, but really signs should be above head height.

Back to business as usual with the traffic racing round the Benalder Street/Old Dumbarton Road junction.

The raised crossing at the junction of Old Dumbarton Road and Bunhouse Road is now in place. The tyre-grabbing incorrect tactile paving is still in place on the cycleway.

The Benalder Street cycleway has now been connected to the Old Dumbarton Road cycleway, with the installation of the raised crossing. The old lamppost seen in #174295 has been removed.

The Old Dumbarton Road cycleway has now been cleared of obstructions at the Ferry Road junction. The raised crossing has been installed and awaits lining. Some bollards might be in order too.

The ironwork at the Hill Street junction in Cambridge Street is rather uneven, and is directly in the cycle lane with little option to avoid if someone happens to be coming the other way. The bollard also looks rather beaten up.

The Hinshaw Street cycleway at the Maltbarns Street junction. It is not clear what the priorities at the junction might be, but in practice traffic volumes are generally low.

The end of the Hinshaw Street cycleway at the Maltbarns Street junction. The nib on the far side of the junction has a dropped kerb at the far side, if continuing along Hinshaw Street. The tactile strip is some new adhesive type I'd not … [more]

A raised crossing at this side access point, but not quite a continuous footway/cycleway.

A humped zebra crossing in Shawbridge Street, this time with Belisha beacons, and also Cyclists Dismount signs.

A humped zebra crossing on Shawbridge Street, without Belisha beacons.

The South City Way cycle route on Victoria Road. Note how the right hand side of the cycle track gets narrower over the width of the road crossing. The markings should guide cyclists away from this area, where the kerb has upstand as the … [more]

The Garscube Road cycle track taking shape, at the Corn Street junction.

The signs say mandatory right turn, but the cycleway on Sauchiehall Street is two-way, so cycles should be exempted. The signs should also be 'mandatory right turn ahead' to diagram 609, due to their position in relation to the junction.

Raised crossing where NCN756 and Piccadilly Street meet.

A shared footway in quiet Glendore Street, and I think the raised crossing in Medwyn Street in the foreground could be better aligned with the footway.

This just doesn't look good at all.

A raised crossing across Mellerstain Drive in Yoker.

A new shared footway on Archerhill Road, leading to the BMX Centre at Knightswood Park. I figure this probably isn't finished, but all the surface work appears to be done and only the lining remains to be finished. However, what alignment … [more]

A new shared footway on Archerhill Road, leading to the BMX Centre at Knightswood Park. The approach to the toucan crossing appears to be quite messy. I'm not sure why the white lines extend around each corner into the side roads. Maybe … [more]

A new shared footway on Archerhill Road, leading to the BMX Centre at Knightswood Park.

The parallel cycle and zebra crossing has now been finished. Go left to turn right. It's also not clear what is and what is not shared use footway.

The new zebra and cycle parallel crossing on Govan Road has still not been completed! Note the parking layby is narrower than the vehicle parked in it.

The new zebra and cycle parallel crossing on Govan Road still hasn't been completed. Not even the shared footway surface has been finished!

Slow progress on the parallel cycle/zebra crossing on Govan Road.

A raised crossing leading into Richmond Park.

The far end of Oatlands Square features a raised crossing, much neater than at the entrance.

The Paisley Road cycle track, with access to/from toucan crossings off to the right via the speed hump. There is also what looks like a cut-through for access directly from the carriageway (next to the lamppost).

Bollards and lining in inconsistent positions either side of an unmarked speed hump on Myrtle View Road, which is also the crossing point for the Aikenhead Road shared-use footway.

NCN7 crossing Mellerstain Drive in Yoker, next to Lidl

Upstand on raised crossing at entrance to Bellahouston Drive on Paisley Road West. Typical of many similar structures installed as part of the Route Action Plan programme.
