Due to problems with public disorder on hot sunny days, various gates to Kelvingrove Park have been locked shut. Evidently, this is not a popular policy.

Nothing to warn NCN756 and West City Way users that there is a locked gate preventing egress from Kelvingrove Park ahead, and that the nearest way out is onto Kelvingrove Street to the right.

Due to problems with public disorder on hot sunny days, various gates to Kelvingrove Park have been locked shut. No disorder was noted in the park today.

The path linking the South Bank path and Oatlands is presently shut while work is underway on rebuilding the Polmadie Bridge.

Still a kerb to bump for anyone trying to get onto the carriageway next to Bells Bridge, in this case due to the closure of the cycleway by a running event. One chap decided to go over the double kerb nearer the bridge ramp! See also #90342 ... [more]

NCN7 ahead and possibly NCN75 across Bells Bridge shut for a running event. The sign refers to a diversion but it is not clear where the diversion signs are. See also #90343.

Apparently Polmadie Bridge was found to be in such a perilous state that it had to be shut immediately, including closing the paths and river beneath it! Demolition is due to start on 12 October 2015. No replacement bridge has been proposed ... [more]

Gates are closed across part of the Kelvin Cycleway (NCN756) after dark. How quaint!
