On the left, the Brock Burn path up to Kennishead Road, and ahead the disused underpass beneath the road. The way beyond is effectively blocked to all but the most adventurous of explorers.
Temporary closure of the path east of the Phoenix Road underpass for work on the crumbling motorway flyover. The Colleges Cycle Route is not affected at this stage.
Looking towards #173895, this is where the Loch Lomond Railway Path used to start. Now the gap in the underpass wall has been filled in and the former railway embankment demolished, so NCN7 crosses Castlebank Street using this toucan … [more]

Dropped kerbs both sides on the underpass at Cowlairs Road, but stepped ramp up to the path alongside the Springburn Expressway.
Ramped access to the underpass under the M8, linking Barfillan Drive and Jura Street to Craigton Road. This is the nearest dropped kerb if coming from Jura Street. Lots of roadspace crying out for some reallocation to enable active travel.
The exit from the southbound pedestrian/cycle Clyde Tunnel. Although each tunnel is one-way for cycles, pedestrians can use either tunnel in either directions. How are pedestrians entering here expected to know about the possibility of … [more]

End of shared-use footway along Menock Road, and underpass under railway line at King's Park station. The sign gives directions to Cathcart station, which is on the same line as this one.
Mud collecting at the bottom of unswept underpass. One of the problems identified about the underpass before it was upgraded was poor drainage. It seems that this hasn't been sorted.
No dropped kerb at entrance to underpass under Clydeside Expressway leading to Victoria Park UPDATE: A dropped kerb has now been installed! (March 2014)
