The footway and crossings between Garscube Road and Cowcaddens, across and along Phoenix Road, have been shut as part of the M8 motorway viaduct repair work.

A large area has been taken for a works compound for the M8 motorway viaduct repair work. But the path between the Garscube Road footbridge and Braid Square is still open.

The Old Dumbarton Road cycleway still awaits completion of utility works before it can be completed itself.

A temporary closure of NCN75 Clyde Walkway starts tomorrow, for 7 months, as far as the Smart Bridge. Yet again, the steep ramp at the Rutherglen Bridge access point here (see #98398 and #71262), will be showing how useful replacing it woul ... [more]

Access between Drumchapel and Bearsden has been maintained during the long-term water works. The surface of the temporary path is stones and not good for cycling on. However, the path south (to the right) has been closed since it goes throu ... [more]

This fencing has been obstructing the access to the Sighthill motorway foot and cycle bridge for some time, even though the bridge is for now still open. The fencing appears to be being used to create nothing more than a contractor's parkin ... [more]

Access to cycle parking being maintained during station building works.

Although still accessible, the new cycle parking at Kelvinbridge station is surrounded by building contractor's skips, hoardings and containers, making it rather unwelcoming.

The cycle track that by-passes the roundabout on Nithsdale Road has been blocked for some months by this compound. No diversion signed, or warning of any kind coming from the opposite direction.
