67239Photo #67239While the barriers have replaced worse barriers, the problem of the unnecessarily steep ramp remains, and the people I saw before and after taking this photo both dismounted rather than attempt to ride up this ramp.

Also the bollard suggests the footway alongside the road is shared use, which I believe is not the case.

The council have kindly installed new layouts on West Princes St, making it one way. Here we see the cycle lane that has been generously provided to exempt cyclists from the one way system. The idea is to cycle through the wee lane, swerve round the parked cars headlong into oncoming one way traffic. Fantastic.

90498Photo #90498Unlike the other rebuilt paths linking to and from the Kelvin Walkway, this riverside path was not asphalted, but instead has been given a loose surface. Unsurprisingly, it is already wrecked after the first heavy rain since it was built. What a waste!

If this path was built properly it woud attract dog-walkers and others away from the main Kelvin Walkway path, thus reducing congestion.
