29466Photo #29466Is this the start/end of the shared use facility? Signage suggests it carries on but there is no further signage further east. (see also #29465)
If this is indeed the start of the footway cycling section, why not make it like #29470 and avoid asking cyclists to take nasty kerb at shallow angle?

The council have kindly installed new layouts on West Princes St, making it one way. Here we see the cycle lane that has been generously provided to exempt cyclists from the one way system. The idea is to cycle through the wee lane, swerve round the parked cars headlong into oncoming one way traffic. Fantastic.

26203Photo #26203Spot the path. Don't bother trying to cycle this one just yet. However, Sustrans is part-funding a new path near here called the Levern Valley Way:

"The project will connect Barrhead to Glasgow and close a major hole in the network by uniting two disconnected paths. The completed route will give cyclists a 5km off road route from Barrhead centre into Glasgow. The project was chosen for three reasons: the need to close the gap, the added value realised to the excellent and existing paths, and community need indentified when consultating on the Core Paths Plan plan, The East Renfrewshire Local Plan and development of the Levern Valley Path Study. Onward cycle connections are established in Glasgow and connect to NCN 7. For the first time East Renfrewshire will be connected to the National Cycle Network"
