Cycle parking, steps and a ramp at the new Panure Gate entrance to the Claypits Local Nature Reserve. The boardwalk leads along the side of the canal and connects to the new bridge at #153304.
Bikes parked outside Crossmyloof station. Perhaps this is easier than getting to the cycle parking on the Glasgow-bound platform. There is space here for stands.
The Kelvin Hall now has replacement cycle parking, and it has been located in the former taxi drop-off lane outside the front door.
Cycle parking outside the shops on Kinfauns Drive, although access is restricted from the road by railings.
Cycle parking at the end of Burleigh Street in Govan, plus a burnt out litter bin and a cabinet with its door falling off, all next to a statue. Glasgow City Council intends to install a contraflow cycle lane along this street. Good luck ... [more]
I think the railings here are to keep the doorways free from blockage by car parking, rather than provide convenient cycle parking for the flats. Plenty of designated car spaces and garages, but still they are parked just anywhere.
Cycle parking for the new eatery, but this path is a signed cycle route leading to a flight of steps (see #98674), The nearby burn is actually called the Polmadie Burn, not Jenny.
Cycle parking at the bowling green pavilion. The new cycle route from Jura Street will be coming through here. A path behind the camera provides a useful route through a car park to the nearby sports centre.
New cycle stands at the bridge to the Murano Street student halls complex, with CCTV coverage, and a forgiving kerb!
#GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 @ScotRail 2.039m journeys p.a. from CX. 5 Sheffield stands. Ratio of 1 rack to 407,800 Trips Vs 433 car spaces. https://t.co/3sHuvEwBwm
Cycle parking at the Glasgow Science Centre and cinema. Damaged racks in the open, shop wheel stands in a shelter, and a Nextbike hire station.
Cycle parking at Silverburn Shopping Centre, this time at the Marks & Spencers collection point. The cycle route passes through here on the strip differentiated by the red bricks, the same red bricks as the collection point roadway.
Some cycle parking at the Silverburn Shopping Centre. It looks like the bollards have been replaced here with a more robust design.
More cycle parking at the Silverburn Shopping Centre, but watch out for that canopy support wire on the way to it!
Cycle parking at the Silverburn Tesco store. Rather less impressive than is found at several locations around the adjacent shopping centre.
New bike shelter at West St Subway station #multimodal #bike&ride #glasgowcycling https://t.co/53yvf04sfK [One of the stands in #72081 appears to have gone missing!]
Temporary cycle parking at Queen Street station, during its redevelopment, replacing the cycle parking in the former car park.
Govan Interchange's cycle parking is now located in a corner around the side of the subway station building.
A couple of cycle parking stands under the Morrisons canopy, but room for many more. These are in addition to the rack seen at #30590.
Let's play spot the convenient brand new #bikestand @ Gartnavel General. Guess good for dog-walkers? https://t.co/RKr17ny0Xw [It's for hire bikes, see #87528]
Cycle parking on Sauchiehall Street, on the right-hand side of Hope Street. None across the road accessed from the left.
Tollcross swimming pool - extra cycle parking to right of entrance. Not as well covered as stands on left of entrance. Never seen these used
Tollcross swimming pool - main cycle parking to left of entrance. A bit better covered than stands on other side.
Kelvinbridge Subway station now has some cycle stands in the car park, in addition to #51137 around the back.
New cycle parking stands at Buchanan Bus Station, in addition to those in #53728, but these are nowhere near the terminal building. If the canopy was effective, there would be a dry patch on the ground under it. There isn't.
Cycle parking well used on a frosty morning in November, although the nearest bike in the picture has a flat tyre
Cycle parking stands outside back entrance to city chambers, but No Vehicles signs preventing use of roadway through arch to get to University of Strathclyde avoiding the busiest city centre roads.
Cycle parking at Clarendon Place on Maryhill Road at St George's Cross. A lot of cyclists go through this road closure at peak times.
Cycle parking stands near shops in Hyndland. There is plenty of space here to have put these end-on to the wall, making them easier to use, and using space more efficiently.
