The start of the unsigned diversion route for the canal towpath closure still has signs up for the Stockingfield diversion.

The canal towpath is now closed for resurfacing. Work can be seen going on in the distance. However, the only information for the diversion route is on the notice at the closure. The route itself, which is via the parallel main road, is not … [more]

The bridge is no longer open. Barriers across the eastern end.

The main arc of the new Stockingfield Junction bridge appears to be unofficially open, but the branch to Ruchill still has barriers. The steps provide a direct route option for pedestrians not needing the ramp.

Still no path connection from the Bredisholm Road M73 bridge to Calderbank Road, and no evidence one is going to be provided. A detour via the unsealed path next to the railway line is thus necessary.

How fragile the motor traffic free status of Kelvin Way can seem.

Active travel routes into and around Sighthill still closed. This is the path between Craighall Road and Sighthill, alongside the motorway.

Kyle Street, between the Sighthill Bridge and Glasgow City Centre, still has no cycle facilities, with the expected results. A road cyclist, a pavement cyclist, and on the left a delivery rider who had been on the road but stopped to make … [more]

Only one usable gap remains in the closure of Kelvin Way for cycling through. This makes it difficult to turn into Kelvin Way from University Avenue.

COP26 diversion signs on Old Dumbarton Road. The one on the tree is indicating separate diversion routes for walking and cycling, due to the direct route along Argyle Street being quite a busy main road.

The COP26 fence completely obstructs the riverside path that forms part of the Kelvin Walkway, and although there is a gate and it is open, it opens onto the remaining width of the path blocking it.

A fence has been built all around the Kelvingrove Art Gallery for the COP26 event. It blocks the footway (the one that might be shared-use due to the one-way carriageway) and the gate only opens across the carriageway,

A sign advising of the diversions for NCN routes 7, 75 and 756, facing people heading away from the diversions.

So is the diversion for NCN7 straight ahead, or left?

Fallen signs on the path, and temporary signs that aren't too helpful (see #175562).

Temporary signage to "No Entry"!

This footway is significantly busier than when the area to the left was a scrapyard and not student accommodation. But the COP26 diversion route has been signed over this regardless.

A busy footway that cyclists have been directed to use as part of the COP26 diversion route.

Not much evidence of there being a COP26 diversion route around this corner.

The Fastlink busway over the Clyde Arc bridge has been shut for COP26, with the other carriageway in effect becoming a busway (with cycling allowed), as seen in #175363.

"Diversion cyclists dismount" on Waterloo Street. No explanation as to where the diversion leads (other than an NCN7 emblem), or any obvious reason why cyclists might need to dismount. There were no further signs to be seen further along … [more]

The cycle route diversion sign on the left-hand side of the road is not particularly noticable from the West City Way cycleway.

I was surprised at how flimsy this barrier was, compared to all the others. Maybe there's a wall of steel barrier further on.

Temporary one-way system on Elliot Street, and a cycle route diversion sign.

Anybody spot the issue here? 👀 The diversion for cycling during #COP26 is a mess. It’s inaccessible. It’s not signed correctly. It’s not a route that people want that makes them feel safe. https://t.co/6bNuDzihB0

The Clyde Arc has been divided in two for COP26.

The pop-up cycle lane at Lancefield Quay is now being used for signage. The signs include "CYCLISTS" is very small print.

A diversion sign for the NCN7 COP26 diversion route obscured by a parked van. Not the van driver's fault, of course, since it should have been placed somewhere where it could be better seen.

The route to the SEC covered walkway appeared to be blocked.

Is this sign meant to be in use?

The Ferry Road dropped kerb (see #175002) did not stay clear for long. Again, materials dumped partly obstructing users of this dropped kerb.
