Slippery cobbles being installed on Dalsholm Bridge.

The crossing to the east of Bunhouse Road has now been provided with asphalt ramps to aid pedestrians crossing. No sign of either dropped kerbs or raised crossings being installed. Incorrect corduroy (hazard) tactile paving is still in … [more]

Still finishing work to be done on the rebuilt Bunhouse Road shared footway, and still no indication of priorities at the car park entrance.

Maybe it's because I don't enter Speirs Wharf from Craighall Road very often, but I almost cycled down the cobbled slope since I was this time going to turn left down the ramp to Garscube Road. The layout here could be better. The steps … [more]

The cycle track alongside Fountainwell Road ends here, with some Guidance Path tactile paving. It looks suspiciously like it will go no further on this side, and it crosses over to a new path on the other side of what can be quite a busy … [more]

Slow progress on the Old Dumbarton Road cycle track. The corduroy tacile paving is incorrect. UPDATE: The raised crossing has been installed, but the tactile paving remains incorrect. See #175266.

North Canal Bank Street is being extensively rebuilt, and includes a segregated cycleway. However, incorrect corduroy (hazard) tactile paving has been used instead of the cycleway type.

I'm not sure what the barriers here are meant to achieve, or why they are blocking the flagship cycleway on Waterloo Street.

@magnatom @GlasgowCC @AnnaLangside @GoBikeGlasgow We took this photo & plan to write to council. Why not 'please take care through roadworks and show respect to workers & fellow road users'? Feel free to use photo if you like. … [more]

Aaaand once again @GlasgowCC have allowed the shared path from Pollokshaws to Silverburn beside Barrhead Road to be blocked by works. @PersimmonHomes do you realise this route is for cyclists too and that many bikes are a lot wider than … [more]

Road works

A new shared footway on Archerhill Road, leading to the BMX Centre at Knightswood Park. I figure this probably isn't finished, but all the surface work appears to be done and only the lining remains to be finished. However, what alignment … [more]

Roadworks affecting the signed link between NCN 7 and Partick station, but not clear if the route is open or closed, no diversion, obstructions on the toucan crossing. A poor show all round!

The new zebra and cycle parallel crossing on Govan Road has still not been completed! Note the parking layby is narrower than the vehicle parked in it.

The new zebra and cycle parallel crossing on Govan Road still hasn't been completed. Not even the shared footway surface has been finished!

Bus lane cameras. Will there be cycle lane cameras? A stepped two-way cycle track is being built along part of Govan Road, but the footway has been reduced to a minimal width, resulting in people walking on the cycle track. An extra metre … [more]

... it's just a shame that the Bridge to Nowhere is once again living up to its name. #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 #GetOffAndWalk https://t.co/3XpPXrlJGy

A wider view of the toucan crossing shown in #89015 that leads only to the bus stop in the distance (beside the bus). The toucan crossings do not connect anywhere where it is legal to cycle other than the carriageway. The crossings are … [more]

A messy join between old and new footways on Coatbridge Road.

This ramp forms part of NCN75 and has been closed for a few weeks. See #88472.

This has apparently been left like this for several weeks! No warning signs for anyone approaching from the riverside.

Already the new crossing surfacing is being eaten into by trenching works.

Taking the easy option. Who makes these signs anyway? What's wrong with 'Drivers give space to cyclists' ? http://t.co/GfKiJvcQRD

@carsickglasgow @bollocksinfra @GlasgowCC in the, ahem, shared use path being narrowed by barriers http://t.co/Nt8JNX7K5l

@magnatom @carsickglasgow thanks road guys, honestly, there's bags of room. http://t.co/fYPxtO450y

A 'Cyclists Dismount Here' sign has been provided at the start of a diversion over to the adjacent road around the Bell's Bridge refurbishment worksite
